1)What is Web Based ERP?

This entry is registered in the system. When the goods are inspected and unloaded at the purchase department, and stores in-charge, he makes an entry after checking the right number. The number mentioned in the invoice and the actual number received. When its issued, from the stores, its recorded. When it travels to various departments like machine shop, job workers, it carries its own origin number or lot number which corresponds to the lot which was received in the lorry.

Now the material is worked upon in the machine shop. So the total time the worker is working on a particular job is recorded by the works manager in his system. How much material was used, the quantity of the finished product, and what is wastage, every thing is logged. 

Then the factory manager ensures all the materials are collected from job workers or different departments and brought to quality control for  inspection. Again it carries its paper with the lot number.

Now it goes to the stores, invoiced and shipped. So the invoice goes to the accounts, outstanding goes to the marketing and sales departments for follow up.
